The Texas Center for Medical & Surgical Weight Loss has been established exclusively for the advanced medical and surgical treatment of severely overweight individuals.  We specialize in weight loss surgery, including laparoscopic gastric bypass, Lap Band^®, and revision surgeries in San Antonio.  We also offer medically-supervised weight loss. Our team of healthcare professionals offers a personalized, comprehensive approach to help each patient overcome the unique problems and challenges of obesity.

Our surgeons are fellowship-trained in bariatric surgery (weight loss surgery). This is the highest level of training a surgeon can receive in this field. They have undergone extensive training specifically in bariatric surgery, beyond that which is required by the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons.  We are very proud to offer this level of expertise to our patients.

At the Texas Center for Medical & Surgical Weight Loss, we offer private consultations as well as group educational seminars for weight loss surgery.  Surgery is performed at a specially-designed unit of Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, complete with state-of-the-art equipment and specialized nursing care.

We provide nutritional, exercise, and psychological counseling as well as support group sessions for our patients, both before and after surgery.  Medically-supervised weight loss is available for those who do not qualify for or who are not interested in surgery.
