Free Weight Loss Seminar
in San Antonio

The decision to undergo a surgical weight loss procedure is a difficult one that should not be made without a full understanding of the procedure. The Texas Center for Medical and Surgical Weight Loss located in San Antonio, Texas offers free educational lectures to those considering a surgical weight loss procedure.

Our free weight loss seminars are held several times each month and give prospective patients the opportunity to discuss the problems associated with obesity and learn in depth about each type of bariatric procedure.

The seminars are given by Dr. Ramiro "Sonny" Cavazos, our medical director and an expert in the field of bariatric surgery.  Dr. Cavazos is a fellowship-trained bariatric surgeon who has performed hundreds of bariatric procedures.  Those in attendance have the opportunity to obtain valuable information from an expert and are able to ask questions about weight loss procedures in a small setting.

The seminars are open to everyone so bring friends and family along if you choose. During the seminars you will learn about the history of bariatric surgery, the different procedures available to you, how they work, risks and benefits, and things to consider when deciding if it's the right step for you.
