You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. When you register in our electronic medical records system, Remedy MD, your information is securely transferred into our electronic medical record database.  The Remedy MD database uses 128 bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.  They employ industry-standard, physical, electronic, and procedural security safeguards to protect all of your information.  All sensitive information, including personal medical information, is transmitted to the Remedy MD website under strong encryption.  When you create your records on Remedy MD, you will have access to their Privacy Policy as well.

While encryption is used to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
